Hey, everyone!

God has opened the door for me to go on a short-term mission trip to Ethiopia with E3 Partners Ministry and Watermark Community Church June 10-19, 2016. This will be my first mission trip overseas! I have wanted to be a part of a trip for years, but I was given a strong desire to only go if it was a trip that impacted people who have never heard the name of Christ. After seeing my roommate and a few other friends of mine travel to a nearby village in Ethiopia with E3 last year, I saw the heart of this trip. I watched them pray, train, memorize, and sacrifice their time for months before the trip. Their faithfulness impacted me so strongly that I knew going in 2016 would be a possibility. Since then, it was made clear that I was being called to go through the interview process to join this team. Myself and 18 others from Watermark Fort Worth will be training for this trip months in advance, and have already started this process. Although there are risks that come with traveling to of Africa at this time in our world, I can think of no better way to spend the time I've been given than following God's call to share Christ for the first time with His people in Ethiopia. The trip is focused on reaching people who have never heard the name of Jesus, while partnering with a local church to provide translators and protection.

Your help is needed! This is a team project, and I need people to join my team. First, we need your prayers for the spiritual battles ahead. Second, your help is needed to help cover part of the cost for this trip. The total cost will be around $4,300, and this amount is due May 15th.
