There over a million refugees from South Sudan and Congo in northern Uganda.  They have fled war and famine in hopes of finding refuge.  This trip is all about hope.  It's in Jesus that we find a hope that doesn't change or shift with circumstances. Our time in the refugee camps will be one of encouragement and support of the local church.  We will serve local leaders by sharing the Gospel in unreached areas and help plant new ones.

In addition to this, I will have the opportunity to lead worship at a conference where my team will be teaching and equipping pastors in that area. 

This is my first mission-trip outside of the United States, and I'm excited to explore the culture and step outside of my comfort zone.

If I do cross any lions, I'm sure the Lord will have me snuggling with them on the trip.
