Jordan has a rich biblical and spiritual history that is only succeed by Israel. Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon are all important in the biblical narrative, but Jordan surpasses them all with more references to the land of present day Jordan and the people that inhabited it. 

Although the country is small and with minimal natural resources, Jordan has come to the rescue of many refugees from Egypt, Iraq, and now, Syria. The Jordanian believers see this as an opportunity to truly serve the incoming people, just as Christ did, so many years ago.
