Greetings Loved ones,

Edriana (a.k.a Nikki) here, I am currently a nursing student at Loma Linda University, and I am excited to say that I was accepted to join a Mission trip to Botswana (located in southern Africa) this coming summer of 2019. With this page, I am simply asking help in funding my trip as well as prayers for this endeavor. Here are some brief answers to any questions you may have. 

What is the Mission trip about?

Selected students from LLU's School of Nursing travel to Botswana as part of their Public Health Nursing (PHN) course and serves as a mission trip. The goal focuses on the optimal wellness of the client community in partnership with local nursing staff serving the community often in Primary Health Centers.  

I hope to:

·     Extend the care that we have for the people who do not have enough access to health care.

·     Expand my knowledge in nursing skills to become a better and effective nurse.

·     Simply give joy to the people of Botswana.

Why I decided to apply for the Mission trip?

I’m very passionate about what I do as a student nurse; helping the people and the community around me; and I know there is more I can do along with your help.

As soon as I received the Acceptance letter for the mission trip (yay!) it brought me to a realization of bigger doors opened through going far and beyond in helping those who are in need of care.

How can You help?

By simply taking time to read this far you’ve already given me such happiness (seriously, some people just don’t bother). Yet, in order for me to fulfill this mission trip I need to reach the needed funds; any donation amount given are highly appreciated.

But I’m broke…

I am there with you (trust me in this), but… all it takes is skipping Starbucks for a couple days, eating in instead of dining out, and maybe painting your own nails (which is actually safer)
