The route to Edgar and Omar’s new home was a hard one as the vans struggled through hills and deep ruts in the road. As we approached the build site, seeing Edgar in his wheelchair and Omar standing next to him with his arm around his son’s shoulder, well, that was new. It created a new determination to build an incredible home for this family with special needs always knowing the van parked not far from their new home was where they had been living for a very long time. This is the home that was lovingly donated and built with the help of EKKO Church.
The impact of building a home for a family:

to attend and succeed at school.
*A debt free home helps leverage families out of chronic poverty.
*A home with a cement floor increases overall health by 78%.
*The homes effect a family in positive ways for generations.

of their family life such as education, food, clothing and healthcare.
