Have you ever dreamed of being a mom to a child in need? That was my dream. In fact, it was our dream. 

Adoption has always been close to our hearts. We believe it is one of the ultimate acts of love to redeem a child from a devastating situation and give him/her a family. In our journey of interacting with children from traumatic backgrounds, God opened our hearts to adopt an older child. 

The child was older than all our biological children. We were told it would be hard. We were warned that it would probably fail. We were actually advised not to pursue it because of how many kids we already have and how young they were.

God worked in amazing ways and transformed our lives together as a family. Through struggles and milestones, we learned to grow with our child, while acquiring valuable lessons of parenthood, humility, faith, and healing. 

We became a family. A family that had been through storms but came out stronger. A family that took a step of faith into darkness and found the light deep wtihin us.

Unfortunately, the case of the child is complex and riddled with obstacles. Because this is an active case, we are unable to share further details. All we can say is that it's been a few years and we are exhausted. 

As we move forward with our case, we find ourselves battling with not only legal complications and financial challenges, but also a growing sense of anxiety and fear. However, with God's help, we are choosing hope over fear. Faith over doubts. Every day has been an opportunity of surrendering our wills to God.

In our search for financial assistance, we came across this website. After prayerful considerations, we decided to create a funderaising on here to see if God will open the doors and help us raise more funds to support our onging legal battle.
