Hello Friends and Family!! I am currently a Freshman at Oral Roberts University, going into my second semester of college. I am pursuing a major in Youth and Family Ministry with a Minor in missions. This summer, from June 12th to July 8th, I have been given the opportunity to travel to Uganda with Bless the Children Ministries, where I will share the love of Christ with Orphaned and Vulnerable children! Bless the Children Ministries is located in Mabaale, Uganda, and their mission is to be the love of Christ to Uganda's orphaned and vulnerable children, equipping them to become authentic, Godly leaders who transform generations. BTCM focuses on family restoration, personalized education, and relational discipleship through holistic care for children and their guardian families.

Their family-based holistic care is designed to help children embrace their God-given potential and equip them to transform their communities. During my time there, I will get to be the hands and feet of Jesus by leading bible studies, running Vacation Bible School, and meeting and serving struggling families in the community. This trip is a blessing as I feel a strong call on my heart to plant orphanages with the intent that children can have a safe place and learn about Jesus. I want these children to know that no matter their circumstances, whether they have earthly parental figures or not, they have a Father who loves them as they are. I want to speak peace and love over these children in the hope that they taste and see the Lord's goodness for themselves. I would ask you to partner with me in praying for these people that I am going to be with. Pray with me that these children's hearts are opened and healed from past hurt and trauma, and pray that families are restored through Christ. Pray that the mission team and BICM staff have energy to pour into the lives of others and have open hearts to allow the lord to guide every interaction, so that we honor Him and His voice in all that we do! I am also accepting donations, as I have $4,000 to raise for this trip, and if there is another way you would like to partner with me, that would be very much appreciated! This cost covers my flights, room and board, in-country transportation, and food. I cannot wait to meet these children and see how the Lord works!!!
