Hey friends,
I have been blessed with the opportunity to participate in a mission trip to Ethiopia this summer with young adults from my home church Watermark Community Church. We will be working with e3 Partners, which is an organization that seeks to evangelize, equip, and establish local churches in the communities we visit through locally trained leaders.
Our trip will be specifically targeted to the Oromo region where local evangelical churches are scarce. We will have the incredible opportunity to step into the villages in this region and share the Gospel with people who may have never heard it before!
The most important way to partner with us as we go is to pray. Pray for God to give us wisdom and discernment during every stage of our trip and each conversation that we have. Our purpose with this trip is to share the Gospel with the unreached and pray that God uses the encounters that we have to draw people to Himself. Prayer is truly the most important part of that process as only God can change somebody's heart and reveal Himself to them. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to go and share the Gospel and the more people praying over all of us through every stage of our trip the better!
Second, giving financially to help support in any amount is also helpful and anything donated will go directly toward the expenses for the trip. Donations above the listed amount will go toward helping the rest of the team members be able to fund their portion of the trip or toward purchasing Bibles and other items for us to take with us on our trip. If you have any questions specifically about partnering financially please feel free to let me know.
If you’re interested in receiving an email update about the trip and the work we’re able to accomplish feel free to text me your email address at 360-536-6293. I would love to be able to share more with anyone that’s interested about the trip and the heart behind the mission so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions at all.
Thanks in advance for partnering in prayer as we seek to reach those who haven’t yet heard of the love that God has for them!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” - John 3:16-17
"And he said to them, Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." - Mark 16:15
