My university will be going to Pucallpa, Peru where we will be serving alongside AMOR Projects. Below is a video from the mission trip last year:

Why I'm Going:

 I am a Sophomore in college studying Global Policy and Services with a pre-medical emphasis. When I decided that I wanted to be a doctor my goal was always to work in developing countries. With my Global Policy and Services studies I have learned about human rights, international policies and laws, world development challenges, global health, political science, and world missions. I truly believe that basic health services is a human right that every individual deserves regardless of their ethnicity, sex, or economic resources.  

l have the opportunity to attend a medical mission trip with other pre-medical and pre-dental students from our university, Southern Adventist University. I will be working with locals, medical professionals, and student missionaries to bring medical, dental, educational and spiritual health to the people in Pucallpa. This is a small step  for me to accomplish my dreams, but with the rest of the team going to Peru we hope to make a difference in Pucallpa. To leave it in better conditions and provide its citizens with necessities. Furthermore, while providing medical assistance is our proprietary goal of our team, our ultimate goal, however, is to spread Jesus’ love to these people.
