Last summer I went on a mission trip to San Jose, Costa Rica with the volleyball team at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. We spent the week helping in orphanages, serving the homeless of downtown San Jose, and sharing our testimonies and God's love with other volleyball players. During this week God opened my eyes and heart to the  mission field. We came in contact with so many people who were hurting and felt hopeless and God used us as vessels to bring joy and hope back into the lives of hundreds of people. A passion for missions and sharing God's love with people all over the world, was spreading like wildfire in my heart. Heading back home was heartbreaking cause I longed to keep spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to these people who had never known him. 
This summer God has called me to travel to Armenia, Colombia to share God's crazy love and the Gospel with the people of Armenia. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus says to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." I am so excited to go into another country this summer and share the Good News and hope of our Savior. 
As I prepare for this trip I ask that you join me in prayer for the people of Colombia that we will come in contact with and for my team and myself as we get ready for this mission.
