According to USAID, over half the population live on less than $1 per day, and about 80 percent live on less than $2 per day.
Nearly a third of the Haitian population is food insecure. Poverty and food insecurity have placed the highest burden on young children and women in terms of
undernutrition and micronutrient deficiencies.
Malnourished children are more susceptible to disease and, as a result, less likely to perform well in school. Many parents struggle to pay school fees and provide enough food to feed their families.
Breath of Life has decided to partner with a Haitian pastor to help launch a school nutrition program at a school in Pètionville. We would like to assist financially to provide healthy meals to children in school. Through this partnership, it will give children a better chance for a healthy, productive future.
A one-time donation of $48, provides one student a hot meal (each school day), uniform and school supplies for an entire school year!
Please prayerfully consider partnering with us to equip, educate and show Christ's love to children in need. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
