I'm getting creative with helping others. I've decided to focus all of my energy on raising awareness of projects affecting homeless women and children. My Goal is to raise $3,000 within one month.

Did you know across the country, 14% of children are now living in high-poverty communities, according to the KIDS COUNT Data Center?
The incidence of women and children living in areas of concentrated poverty nationwide has increased by nearly 30% —from 7.9 million to 10.0 million.
Today, black and American Indian women and children are six times more likely to live in neighborhoods with limited resources compared to others.

The Need: Our goal for 2018is to serve 20 women with basic needs, single family transitional housing, job readiness skills, financial decision making skills and computer training skills. This will empower these women to be more effective in their interactions with others, more knowledgeable of the basic financial tools and computer skills. This will also produce more confidence in presenting a strong, professional and positive image of themselves to employers in order to become self-sufficient.

That's the reason why I started this fundraiser on Pure Charity. Every penny of this goes to fund projects that provide food, housing and education. These powerful projects even give updates on their progress that show real results and real lives impacted!
