We, Victor and Moriah, have begun the process of adoption. We have always known this was the only way we would be able to have a family. However, as a couple made up of a state trooper and museum teacher, it was very unexpected and prohibitive to find out that an adoption costs upwards of $30,000.

We are asking for donations of $100, though any amount is appreciated. We need to raise this half of the funds by July 25th to make this adoption possible - which we exceeded.

This is the most difficult message we have ever written. It has taken some time, and the encouragement of some of you to open ourselves up to this honest and vulnerable request. Truly, without your support this adoption will not be possible for us.

We are having a "Next Chapter Bash: Operation Adoption" to thank everyone for their support. It will be located at our home on July 25th. All of the services (Food, bar, DJ etc) have been donated to make the day a real hit!
