Today is Giving Tuesday!
Help Us Kick Off This Season of Giving!
We can't believe that today is the start of December and the end of the year is quickly approaching!
A lot has taken place at New Beginnings since this summer, and we're excited that the progress is not slowing down. We have been extremely encouraged by our community's support of our project but know that there is still work to be done, and more than ever we need your help crossing the finish line!
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday was created as a day that encourages people to do good by providing opportunities to celebrate generosity. Whether that is by an act of kindness, advocating for what you're passionate about, or donating to a cause close to your heart -- today is a great day to find a way to serve members of your community!
To help kick off this season of giving, we're asking our community to help us fundraise $25,000 this Giving Tuesday!
Your donation towards New Beginnings will help:
Close the Financial Gap on Completing Construction of the New Beginnings Campus
Help Cover Future Programming Costs by Sponsoring a New Beginnings Tenant
Would you consider helping us get one step closer to opening the doors to New Beginnings this Spring? Whether that is donating today, or telling a friend about the work that is taking place in South Fayetteville, we appreciate all that you do to help us advocate for the homeless within our community.
All donations given are tax-deductible and will be applied directly to New Beginnings. Please email help@servenwa.org for any questions or issues with donating.
About New Beginnings
Our Mission: We operate a bridge housing community to help Northwest Arkansas end homelessness. We welcome people who have experienced long-term homelessness or face complex barriers to regaining housing into our safe, supportive living environment. In our program, we promote physical, mental, spiritual well-being and provide housing-focused support to help each person move into a place of their own. In our community, we advocate for the expansion of supportive housing options and join efforts that promote housing justice.
Our Vision: We see a future where every person has a safe, appropriate home—including people who face complex barriers to maintaining stable housing. We connect our daily work of providing shelter and support to the deeper work for housing justice in our society.
