Thank you for considering a donation to Greater Cedar Rapids Area Help-Portrait 2017. 

We will be serving with HELP-PORTRAIT® on Dec 2nd to give back to those in need.

We are a group of local volunteers made up of photographers, make-up artists, and others donating our time, equipment and skills to offer free professional portraits to people who may not otherwise have the opportunity.  We set up portable portrait stations at the site of the organizations with which we work. 

Over the last 4 years events, Greater Cedar Rapids Area Help-Portrait has taken portraits of guests ranging from individuals, to single mothers with their children, to family groups consisting of three generations.   We collaborated with HACAP, Marion WIC, Tanager, Families of Wright Elementary, Families, Willis Dady Emergency Shelter, Young Parents Network and Marion Cares.  Agreements are currently in progress with the 2017 agencies.

This year, we need donations for these items:  Picture frames and refreshments, gas cards for our drivers to pick up families, gaffers tape, food for our 150 volunteers and 250 families, and more.
