My dear family and friends,
I hope this letter finds you well. After my graduation from UNT, I moved back to the Plano Area and have been working at my Alma Mater- Plano East Sr. High. The Lord led me to become a member at Watermark Community Church and it has been an immense blessing. I’ve been able to serve at the Porch: Watermark’s young adult ministry by being able to help with sanctuary logistics while also getting to pray with attendees. This has truly brought me so much joy. God has been moving through my life with great intention and boldness. It’s been a blessing to also have time to laugh with my friends, love on my family, and continue learning wherever I can.
I am very excited to share that I will be travelling to Ethiopia this July! If you would have told me that I would be traveling outside of the country a year ago, I would be in disbelief. While I have yearned to travel, I hadn’t been sure how I would be able. The opportunity to travel to Ethiopia was made known to me in February and I prayerfully jumped all in.
Over the last year, God opened my eyes to the beauty of the global Church and, after some of the hardest months of my life, the gravity of the Gospel. Due to sin, we were separated from God, but from God’s love for us in sending Jesus to die on the cross taking the consequences of our shortcomings, we can be in right standing with God for all of eternity. What a precious, life-changing gift this is! I gained a strong desire to live on mission for Him. My prayer is that I would be able to have a part in all gaining the assurance of their salvation through the grace God gifts us all. I pray Heaven would be crowded and that the global Church would become united. I am eager to go to Ethiopia to learn from and talk with the people there while also seeing God move miraculously there.
I will be going with e3 Partners Ministry and Watermark Community Church. The purpose of this trip is to learn from the people of Ethiopia, build relationships, share about the gift God offers us through Jesus, while helping build up churches within the unreached peoples of the Arsi Oromo.
I am so appreciative of your support!
