Dear Friends and Family

           
            I hope you all are doing wonderful, and having a great start to spring! I would like to take some time and let you know the plans I have for this summer in Colombia as well as update you with what’s going on in my life.

            I am now in my sophomore year of college. In just two more semesters I will be done at Richland and plan on transferring to either UNT or JBU. I feel strongly that the Lord is leading me to work with kids. So I plan on majoring in Education to teach early childhood. But I also have been feeling the Lord lead me more towards the wonderful country of Colombia. Whether that means me moving to Colombia long term, or just going on mission trips here and there I’m not fully sure yet. I’m just waiting for God’s answer. But I am very excited to start preparing for my next trip to Colombia. This will be my third trip to Barranquilla Colombia, and hopefully not the last!

           My trip to Barranquilla Colombia will be June 20th through the 27th. I will be going with my home church, Trinity Bible Church, who also works with e3partners on the trips to Colombia. As they have done in the past we will be going to different neighborhoods and doing door-to-door evangelism. Along with that we will also be working with children’s ministries at the churches, which I am personally excited about. With this being one of many trips Trinity has taken to Colombia, we have already started establishing churches there. One of the amazing things about going back is getting to see how much progress has been made since the previous year and how much each church has grown spiritually. I am so excited to see how the Lord is going to use me, and the team this summer as well as seeing how much I will grow in the Lord.

            I would like to invite you to be a part of my trip in two different ways. One is through prayer. From now until we return from Colombia we will need lots and lots of prayer. Prayer is one of THE MOST important parts of this trip. I know that God is in control and without his leadership over our trip it would not be possible. If you can be praying for 1) For the hearts of the people we come in contact with. 2) Details of the trip to come together. 3) Fundraising, for me and the team as a whole. 4) For the translators that we will all be working with in Colombia. The Second way is financially. I need to raise a total of $2800. I know that’s a lot, but I also know that if it’s God’s will he will provide the funds for it.
