Our Las Chulas all ladies housebuild team built a beautiful new home for Rosa and her two daughters Kimberli and Andrea in October 2023. Because Rosa is visually disabled she cannot work and relies on a small government subsidy to make her land payment.
We were able to help provide required school uniforms for both Kimberli and Andrea.
Because of the remote location of her home, we were compelled to go further in helping this family. We started by adding strong metal bars to her windows.
At this time, they do not have electricity or a source for water.
These are some important ways you can help Rosa and her kids:
monthly porta potty rental - $95
sustainable toilet - TBD
install an electric pole near her home - $250
monthly land payment - $130
indoor solar lighting - $125
adding a water tower and cistern - $660
outdoor solar lighting for safety - $75
food - $____
rain barrel - $50
winter blankets - $60
an additional single bed for Rosa - $150
Our desire is to help Rosa and her kids be in a stronger place going forward. Helping meet some truly basic needs like a toilet, a source for water and light while offering a measure of safety can do this.
We are committed to helping each gift offer life-changing hope.
Thank you for all your care and concern. It is beautiful.
