What is the #TenDollarTribe?

The #TenDollarTribe is a group of people who commit to giving $10 a month to our communities around the world. As the Tribes grow, their impact will exponentially increase from providing hot meals and educational opportunities to constructing community buildings and facilities. Your generosity will serve as a foundational element of support for Yahve Shamma and Williamson Adrien Academy. Through this, our hope is to better care for the children at Yahve Shamma Village, alleviate the pressures of extreme poverty in the surrounding community, and keep families together by supporting local children with education and nutrition.

What will the #TenDollarTribe impact be?

At Yahve Shamma Village, $10 provides 5 children with their daily meals. It is also a day’s wages for the teachers of Williamson Adrien Academy, which means that your $10 could help educate hundreds of children. As more people join the Tribe, we will be able to support larger projects like providing solar panels for the property or increasing the Academy’s budget to hire additional teachers and staff.

As always, this work is being accomplished through amazing local leaders; at Yahve Shamma, this means Pastor Gaétan Alcégaire! We truly believe that a large #TenDollarTribe will bring immediate and lasting change to Yahve Shamma and the Petionville community, and that will seep out into the entire country of Haiti.
