The Maubane Community is a very impoverished rural community, 40km north of Pretoria. Pastor Norman Lamola and his team serve about 400 children and their families each week. Because of the good work they are doing in uplifting the community, a piece of land was allocated to them to establish a Community Centre. This Centre now has a community water point with wash troughs and faucets, a community food garden, a play area and an open-air shelter. They are also now feeding 120 orphaned and/or vulnerable children there every afternoon after school. The next phase at the Maubane Community Centre is to build a multi-purpose building with a Kitchen, Early Childhood Development Centre, Store Room, Caretaker Facilities, and more!
