The Community

The Reagoboka Drop-In Centre and Early Childhood Development Centre provides care, education, meals, and leadership development for 150 vulnerable children in community of Reagoboka, in Pretoria, South Africa.  

The Fundraiser

This fundraiser will add two additional sanitary toilet facilities to the Reagoboka community. Right now, over 120 children are sharing just one pit toilet. Just try to imagine!

Installing these facilities will bring a level of cleanliness, and with that, health, that is otherwise impossible. Unsanitary human waste is one of the leading causes of death and disease in the developing and undeveloped world, and having additional clean, hygienic, and safe toilet facilities will bring an additional, practical level of health and dignity to the children of Reagoboka.  

The Straight Poop (sorry - had to be done)

The Eviro-Loo system is a self-contained waste treatment system that operates through gravity, solar, and wind energy.  It has no environmental impact or strong odor, and it is simple enough to be easily repaired.  It is an excellent way of improving the hygiene of small, underdeveloped communities like Reagoboka, especially those with non-existant sewer systems.  

Please help give these facilities to Reagoboka, and help increase access to health and dignity to the children of this community.
