The
Photographer's Adventure Club (PAC) is a community of artists
looking to expand and share our passion together. We believe in
sharing and helping one another. We value the quality of our work,
and the ability to preserve a moment in time through our photograph
imagery.
We
love giving back to our community.
This
year we have selected the Down Syndrome Network (DSNetwork) of
Arizona to be the recipient of our Help-Portrait charity event. The
mission of the DS Network is to
educate,
support and advocate for those in the community impacted by Down
syndrome. They also
provide
an open, supportive and collaborative association that connects
individuals and families with needed resources and information.
We
at PAC feel particularly motivated about helping this group, because
we realize what the families are going through on a daily basis.
There are many challenges that come along when living with or caring
for a loved one with Down syndrome. There are also many joys that
can be gained. We want to be one of the joys. Something happy that
they can smile about at the end of a long day. We want to leave them
with a positive heart-warming experience, and let them feel cared
for. We want them to enjoy a photograph of their family or child
for many years to come, and to remember that PAC gives back.
We
are truly thankful for this opportunity to serve the DS Network of
Arizona, through Help-Portrait, and in order to make this a reality,
we need your help. All donations are welcome! Even something as
little as $20 will go a long way toward raising funds to purchase the
supplies needed to make this event a huge success.
Our event is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th in order to accommodate our recipients. We will be located at: The Venue Scottsdale, 7117 E 3rd Ave
Scottsdale, AZ 85251, and will begin photographing at 10:30 am.
What is HELP-PORTRAIT®?
HELP-PORTRAIT® is a Global Movement of photographers, hairstylists, and makeup artists using their time, tools, and expertise to give back to those in need.
We're so excited about helping others and we would like to invite you to share in this excitement with us!
We started a fundraiser to raise the funding that we need to make Help-Portrait come to life. We have a one time single donations goal of $2,000 that will go towards the initial cost of the event. It's been our dream to give back and we hope that you will consider being part of this opportunity with us.
