Hello! Thank you so much for checking out my fundraiser page!
My name is Herman Odens, and I am a Junior Biochemistry Major at Southern Adventist University. I am pursuing Pre-Med studies in hope of achieving my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor.
I have been humbled to be given the opportunity to serve God in my first ever mission trip to
Pucallpa, Peru during
Spring Break of 2017.
I will go with a team of other Pre-Med and Pre-Dent students who will serve the tribe people of the Ucayalli River and provide medical attention such as practicing
local anesthetics and
extracting decaying teeth. I will also be
interacting with many of the children over there which will be an awesome experience!
I feel that I have been called to this mission in order to learn more and become a testament to the healing power of God. This trip will become a solid foundation in which to build my
passion for medicine and
serving others with my hands. This is the purpose for my life, and I want go out into the world and help those who are truly in need.
Thank you so much for being willing to even look at this fundraising page, and thank you so much more for reading this story. I will be thankful with any donation; I know that there are fellow highly-indebted students looking at this page, so even
sharing this post would definitely help!
