Hey Loved Folks! It's us again, with a cool new way to stay in the loop of our adoption progress and support us along the way. The further we get into this process of adopting a child(ren) from the Philippines, the more convinced we are that this is a community, family effort...not a solo gig. Your love, prayers, encouraging words, questions, financial gifts, time, ALL efforts are part of the big story that's being written into our lives and the life of our future child. 

A brief backstory for those who may not have heard yet: We knew very early in our relationship, even before marriage, that adoption would be part of our life together, we just didn't know when. Almost seven years, two children, one miscarriage, and several transfers later, it's clear to us that the "when" is "now". The circumstances aren't perfect (are they ever?!) as we will be relocating soon, and the financial aspect of adopting is staggering, but God is bigger, and we trust his wisdom and timeline more than our best guesses and well-laid plans.

 We've jumped in and are inviting you to jump with us. I've discovered over the past few years that living life unconventionally and "risky" as you follow the Lord is full of intoxicating joy, beautiful views and "Holy Wow" moments. As we step out in faith, we're humbled into a position of supernatural dependence for every provision. Lo and behold, that position places you in the lap of God, a pretty phenomenal resting spot. It really just boils down to obedience for us; we heard God say "adopt now", so we are. 

And you are too, just by being here. 

I encourage you to poke around the entire Pure Charity website; it's amazing and inspiring and EASY to be part of. Look up at the top of this page and you'll spy a little shopping cart (hover over it and it says Rewards). One of the simplest ways to help us, or any other worthy cause in the Pure Charity family, is just by doing your normal shopping. Follow the directions, embed the little icon, and go shop! You basically earn a percentage back into your own account by shopping via Pure Charity at the participating online stores you already frequent, and you can choose which fundraiser/cause/project you'd like to give that percentage back to (Us!Us!Us!)
