BIG NEWS! I will be serving with Hope Speaks Uganda this May! I am excited about this opportunity and am excited for ya'll to share in this excitement with me! For those who do not know, I love working with children with disabilities, meeting them where they are at and discovering what unique gifts they bring to this world. I am someone who strives to be deeply committed to promoting equity and ensuring that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have access to the resources they need to thrive. In Uganda, many individuals with disabilities face significant barriers in accessing vital services such as speech therapy, which are crucial for their development and communication. My passion for working with children with disabilities fuels my desire to serve with Hope Speaks. This opportunity will allow me to directly contribute to improving their quality of life, bridging the gap between need and access, and empowering them to reach their full potential.

I started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that I need for this mission trip. I have a single goal of $5,000 that will go towards flights lodging, food, Hope Speaks and other expenses while I serve for 3 weeks in Uganda.
