Jacob and Maureen Ogodo are pillars of faith in Mathare. Since 2015, they’ve led Oasis of Hope and Clark Educational Centre with courage, compassion, and relentless commitment to vulnerable families. They’ve built safe places for children to learn, eat, grow, and thrive—places full of love and dignity.
Jacob was raised as a street child in Mathare. Now he returns every day to fight for children walking the same roads he once walked. They lead teams, mentor leaders like Prince and Abraham, provide jobs, and model faith in motion.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good.” — Galatians 6:9
Your giving allows Jacob and Maureen to serve full-time—managing programs, teaching families, leading staff, and building pathways out of poverty. Over 95% of your gift directly supports their work.
From Brian & Erin:
Words fall short. Our respect for Jacob and Maureen is deep and personal. They continually multiply themselves, lift others up, and embody the heart of Jesus. In 2026, we hope a committed circle of supporters will surround them with prayer, encouragement, and ongoing partnership.
