Take a look again at the picture up top. This man was one of the many people I saw on the final day of clinic on a trip to Peru in 2016. I don't remember what specific treatment this man was seeking, but I know that the Spirit was drawing him to the clinic that day to hear the Good News. I wonder if even he remembers what originally brought him in. After getting his physical needs taken care of, we turned to his spiritual needs. I asked him for his story, and realizing we were in very similar places in life, I asked to share my testimony with him. Quickly that led to the gospel, and moments later someone in the clinic happened to take this picture of him praying to receive Christ as his Lord and Savior! There were many encounters like this.
The end goal of these trips is to establish new churches that believers can gather in, be it someone's house or a town square or an existing church. Two days before on that same trip, the medical team broke off to walk alongside the nationals in the different communities we were hosting clinics in. One of the local members I walked alongside that day brought her daughter. She was maybe 5 or 4. Our group walked over a very large hill in the middle of the countryside and she was tired of walking. Next thing you know she's being carried on my shoulders, hiding behind my hat. We made several home visits following up with people who had made professions of faith in the clinic a day before. By the end of our day, this girl had seen everything we did and she was no longer shy and afraid but overflowing with happiness and excitement. She called me her best friend to everyone we saw and wanted to ride on my shoulders and had nothing but smiles! This is the second picture above.
These encounters and blessings do not happen solely because of me. It takes a team of people focused on their roles. It requires translators, doctors, and local people who will follow up and guide these new believers.

Back in 2010 I first answered the call to GO. Because of 2020 cancelling plans last year, this year will mark my 10th trip serving with e3Partners! Will you join me and be a part of my sending team this year?
