This July, I will be traveling with a team of volunteers to the impoverished coastal town of Jacmel, Haiti.


In Jacmel, everything we do is centered around a thriving church in a rural community called Restoration Ministries. Restoration has many programs for the community including a school, a feeding program for the children and a computer center for people to go online.  They also build houses for people in need.

I will be working alongside Haitians all day helping with manual labor projects.  In the past we have built homes, a playground, painted - whatever is needed.  The afternoons are spent assisting with the feeding program, playing with the children and often offering a week of fun with Vacation Bible School.

I'm extremely excited to help out in the computer center and play games with the kids, many of whom are orphans. I invite you to donate to this effort today, and I promise to report back with what we accomplished.
