Jessica's Story:
I have been working as a paramedic with Ada County Paramedics since 2010. I have always felt that my job as a paramedic has been a mission field for me to help others and make a difference in their lives. For the past few months, I have felt an additional calling to help others. A medical mission trip to Russia miraculously became available at just the time I felt this calling.
Russia’s healthcare system is run by the government and is very expensive, which means many Russians are unable to get the medical care they need. E3 Partners is an organization that sends missionaries all over the world. I am excited to participate with E3 Partners to join a medical mission trip June 21-July 2, 2019. E3 Partners has conducted a medical mission to Russia for the past 3 years and has been able to form many church plants from the people who were seen at these clinics. Three 2-day clinics are scheduled in Kursk (south of Moscow) and the nearby countryside and we will be treating an estimated 750 people. These clinics will consist of a medical evaluation, eye care, dental care, a counselor to talk about their emotional needs, as well as a missionary to talk about their spiritual needs. There will be approximately 8 people going on this mission, and the organization is very excited to have my skill set on this type of mission. I am also very excited to use my expertise to help further the kingdom of God.
I am very excited about the opportunity to serve and minister through my skills in medicine. I am also excited to have you join me on this adventure through your prayers and/or financial support.Kursk, Kursk Oblast, Russia
