Join me and Students for International Mission Service (SIMS) to bring nutrition education, love, and hope to the children of Pan American Health Services (PAHS), a nutritional rehabilitation center for children under 5 years of age located in the mountains of North Central Honduras. Over the past 10 years, SIMS teams have provided medical and dental clinics for the PAHS community, mobile clinics to rural villages, public health education programs, child therapy programs, and more.

The goal of this multidisciplinary trip is to follow-up with nutritional/behavioral health needs that were noted in previous trips to Honduras. Some ideas we are currently working on are providing some kitchen equipment to help prepare healthy meals, planting a small garden, donating books and toys, and of course, playing, teaching, and working with the children and employees at PAHS.
