Hi this is Jonathan Bell and I’m trying to raise money to travel to Greece to help out with the refugee crisis. This is also known as the European migrant crisis. Since 2015, millions of people have been driven from their homes, mostly in the Middle East, but also in parts of Africa and South Asia because of war and other political conflicts. Greece is one of the entry points for refugees and asylum seekers into other parts of Europe. 

Why?

I feel I am being called to help with the ongoing refugee crisis and this short-term trip to Greece this summer would be a great opportunity for ministry. I want to build relationships with people from all walks of life. Sometimes all they need is someone to listen to their story. I want to be the person that listens and is able to pray for them. I’ve always enjoyed helping people and I believe God is calling me to do it again. I want to be the hands and feet of Jesus and bring the Kingdom of God to them, wherever they are in life.
