My name is Josh Bevins, and I am a third-year student at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
Our school has a longstanding commitment to serving underserved communities, both locally and globally. This year, we are organizing a dental mission trip to Cusco, Peru, where we will provide much-needed dental care to those who lack access to basic dental services.
Cusco, a city nestled in the Andes Mountains, is home to many impoverished communities where individuals struggle to afford and access dental treatment. During our mission trip, which will take place from June 17-28, 2024, our team of volunteer dental students, faculty members, and licensed dentists will set up temporary clinics to provide services such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and oral health education.
I am passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to quality dental care, regardless of their socioeconomic status or geographic location. By participating in this mission trip, we aim to alleviate pain and suffering, improve oral health, and empower individuals to take control of their dental well-being.
However, organizing a dental mission trip requires significant financial support. Expenses such as transportation, lodging, supplies, and equipment rental quickly add up. This is where your generosity can make a difference. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to our ability to provide essential dental services to those in need. I am also happy to provide any additional information or answer any questions you may have about our project.
Your support would mean the world to me and to the individuals we aim to serve in Cusco. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who lack access to dental care.
Thank you for considering my request. I sincerely appreciate your support and generosity.
Warm regards,
Josh Bevins
