About this Fundraiser

The Loma Linda University Students for International Mission Service (SIMS) mission trip to American Samoa focuses on providing community-based healthcare with an emphasis on diabetes assessment, treatment support, and education. Through collaboration with local healthcare providers and community partners, LLU students and faculty help promote diabetes prevention, improve disease management, encourage healthy lifestyle choices, and empower individuals and families with the knowledge and resources needed to support long-term health and well-being.

  • Non US Passport holders please email Obed Carrera at ocarrera@llu.edu before registering for this trip.

  • Passports must have at least twelve (6) months validity and at least two blank pages.

  • LLU Students for International Mission Service (SIMS) prioritizes participation in international mission service trips for currently enrolled Loma Linda University (LLU) students. Non-LLU student applicants must place their names on a waitlist and may be considered for participation only after priority has been given to eligible LLU students and space is available. Placement on the waitlist does not guarantee acceptance or participation in the mission service trip. Final selection is subject to program capacity, eligibility requirements, and SIMS approval.
