I love Jesus. I love people. I have life. I want to serve in any way I can.
I'm a Registered Nurse and have
known the call to medical missions since my youth, and actually attended nursing school on a medical mission scholarship over 50 years ago.
My life has been a mission, as I have worked as a nurse, serving locally, but raising 6 kids kept me from going out in the foreign field. Since the kids are grown and I still have
life and a
passion to serve others, I have worked in the Pacific Northwest and fairly recently trained and served with YWAM Ships (Youth With A Mission) for 9 months. I found the time
challenging and rewarding as 50 international believers lived in community on the medical Ship Liberty off the remote islands in Papua New Guinea, bringing Christ's love and healing to native islanders. I was the ship's only grandmamma and mamma!
I'm currently serving with the Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue
as a chaplain,
helping people in their time of need by giving emotional, mental and spirtitual support. I continue nursing in the local community. I am also a
volunteer with the Foursquare Disaster Relief(FDR) organization responding to hurricane Ian this month.
I have been called to join the FDR Medical team that is going to Jamaica
this upcoming winter (March 5-19, 2023), and would appreciate your partnership with me as I go. Our medical team will be running clinics in areas that don't have easy access to regular medical care.
I covet your prayer support as I prepare for this time. If you find it in your heart, financial assistance would be greatly appreciated as well. This Mission is totally on a volunteer basis. I walk in faith as we trust and know that God is our provider. I'd love to invite you along with me! Your participation and support are as important as there is no lasting benefit if Christ is not glorified. If you are unable to go, your
partnership with this mission team by
prayer and financial donation is greatly appreciated, and
means the world to me!
This team is part of the request from Jamaica's Foursquare National Leader, Pastor Gareth Phillips, asking for FDR Medical teams to join his ministry team in serving
inner city as well as
rural communities in Jamaica as they
lack adequate access to basic healthcare and were deeply
impacted by Covid as shown in this study by Unicef:

March 5-19, 2023,
FDR Medical will partner with the International Foursquare Church in Jamaica to support, build relationships and reach their community by working together to meet both medical and spiritual needs.
