Dear Friends and Family,

I am so grateful that the Lord has transformed my life and has given me the opportunity to share my testimony to reach and connect with unreached people groups in Ethiopia. I wanted to share some of the many ways the Lord has been working on my heart and has brought me to this moment. For the past 2 years, the Lord has put it on my heart to focus my time and energy on serving the community. Stewarding my talents and my gifts to serve those with different needs through various advocacy roles as an SA Advocate, Child Advocate, Special Needs Cheerleading Coach, Elementary Ministry Leader, and more. He has shown me how meaningful relationships are and how valuable it is to build a community where you are. With these experiences, He has opened my heart and mind to the needs of those around me and ways in which I can help grow His Kingdom. Within the last year, the Lord put it heavily on my heart to expand my perspective, outreach, and use of my gifts. I felt so strongly that a mission trip would be the next step in the right direction to where the Lord was leading me. Today I can confidently say that it is indeed my next step, and I am so grateful the Lord is using me by opening the door to allow me to go on a short-term mission trip to Ethiopia this June 2-11.

This mission trip aims to share the gospel with unreached people groups who have never heard the name of Jesus. We will spend our time working with local believers, including a translator, and go throughout the community, praying for and sharing Christ with those we meet. Our local partners are committed to following up with those who make professions of faith throughout the week and will establish new churches in those areas.

As I prepare for the upcoming trip, I would value your prayers. Please pray for our team and me, our Ethiopian translators and disciple-makers, and the people who hear about the love and grace of Jesus.
