As summer approaches, Adventist Health Global Mission will lead a team of associates on a mission trip to the islands around Chuuk, Micronesia. These remote communities face limited access to healthcare, making essential medical services difficult to obtain.
During our time there, we will focus on rheumatic heart disease screening, dental care, and providing surgical procedures to those in need. As a Physical Therapist, I will be interacting and presenting to local Physical Therapists. I will be able to provide Physical Therapy services for amputees, trauma victims and for common musculoskeletal disorders. By offering these critical services, we hope to improve health, wholeness, and hope for the people of Chuuk.
We invite you to join us on this meaningful journey to serve and uplift the communities of Micronesia!
