With a greater metropolitan population of about one million, Bucaramanga, the capital of Santander, is one of Colombia's major cities. God is doing great things in Bucaramanga as churches are being established and many people are open to the Gospel. The only danger of following God to this beautiful city is that you will want to stay!
Hey friends and family! I have been given an amazing opportunity to serve a week-long mission in Bucaramanga, Colombia with Cheyenne Berean Church. My church partners with an organization called E3 that specializes in short-term missions. In this week-long stay, our main focus will be to build relationships with families. This could look like playing sports with children, cooking for a family or group of people, teaching others how to share the gospel, supporting local churches, as well as helping in any way we are needed. This will be my first time leaving the country, let alone traveling by plane! I am beyond grateful to have this opportunity to help others, teach others, and most importantly, grow my relationship with God.
In order to go to Colombia, I need to fundraise. I need to raise $2,800 by July 20, 2024. These costs will cover travel to and from Bucaramnaga, all food, and the rest will be donated to local churches. Clicking the link below will take you to my fundraising website. By donating to this fundraiser you’re not just helping me. By choosing to support, you are advancing the kingdom to unreached people, helping churches continue in the call Jesus has given them, and most importantly providing others the opportunity to connect and reconnect with God.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! If it is not possible for you to donate, you can still make a difference just by simply pressing the share button. I can’t wait to share this experience with you all. - Love, Katie
