Howdy!

I am beyond excited to share with you that God has opened the door for me to go on a short-term mission trip to Ethiopia with e3 Partners and Watermark Community Church this July!

I have participated in mission trips within the states but never imagined that I would have the opportunity to go international. It has been an encouragement to me to hear the experiences of those that have done discipleship work internationally but I have let fears and insecurities keep me from living out God’s will for me — to serve Him and others humbly and faithfully with love (Galatians 5:13, 1 Samuel 12:24, 1 Peter 4:10). 

This past year has been a year filled with major growth in getting out of my comfort zone and facing fears and insecurities head on. I knew I did NOT want my fears and insecurities to hold me back from doing God’s work (Galatians 5:1). After praying and receiving encouragement from a close group of friends, I submitted my application to attend a mission trip to Ethiopia. To my delight, I was selected to join a group of about 50 young adults to go and be faithful in sharing who Christ is and what He did for us at the cross (John 5:24, Ephesians 2:8-10)!

We will be partnering with Ethiopian Christians as we do children’s VBS and men’s and women’s outreach. Our mission is to share Christ's love with the Muslim and Ethiopian Orthodox people in the Oromo Region of Ethiopia. We are partnering with Ethiopian believers to build relationships, share Christ, and plant churches among an Oromo people group that don't know of Christ's love and redemption.

Your help is needed! This is a team project, and you are needed on the team. First, and most importantly, please join me in praying for the teams going to Ethiopia. Please pray for me and the group and the people in Ethiopia and the spiritual battles that lie ahead! Second, I would be honored if you would prayerfully consider partnering with me financially by donating to my trip. The total trip cost is $3,400 and much of this amount is due April 1st.
