Hello friends and family, I am thrilled to announce that I will be going on a mission trip to Madagascar in August! I am so excited to not only provide for the health needs of the people there, but to also build lasting relationships with the people in Madagascar. I truly believe that we must not only heal people physically, but emotionally and spiritually. We must sincerely listen to people's needs in order to fix the root of their problem. I am so excited to make friends in Madagascar and help educate them on how to care for their health. 
There I will be working closely with staff and physicians from local SDA clinics. Together, our multidisciplinary team will:

• Provide healthcare education and assessment to the local community
  
• Interact with local patients, community members and local schools to promote wholeness 
• Teach emergency response training to local healthcare providers 
  
• Hold community-based health fairs in conjunction with local healthcare providers 
  
• Help with primary and secondary school health education

While I cannot wait to go to Madagascar, I must raise the money to go there first. For those who are able, I would greatly appreciate some financial support. Even if all you can give is a few dollars, it all adds up. Thank you to all of you who will make this trip possible. :D
