The Lord is pouring out His spirit in a great way in Malawi. He is raising up the national church to fulfill the Great Commission, and there is a great openness to the message. This trip will have a strong emphasis on I Am Second groups. 

As many of you know I have spent time the past 2 summers in Africa and it has captivated me. The children in Malawi and Tanzania have stolen my heart. I have seen and experienced things that have changed my life forever. As I prepare for my next trip, I am sad to say that I will not be in Tanzania for a third year in a row, but excited to share that I will be returning to Malawi. Please prayerfully consider joining my team and financially supporting this trip. My goal is to raise approx. $3,900 for this trip by the end of May. ($2,000 by March 1st for the plane tickets)

There are over 4 million orphans in Malawi due to HIV/AIDS. A majority of the children I met and played with last summer were orphans sent to live with relatives- who, sadly, were not caring for them. Many were forced to find jobs in order to eat and were unable to continue their education- although they were smart enough to pass the tests. I am passionate about bringing a smile to these kiddos faces- bringing them hope, loving, encouraging, and sharing truth with them. They are valued and important, regardless of what their circumstances and culture may lead them to believe. My mission is to love God, love people (especially children), and serve the world.
