Most of the 250 children we work with in Kenya sleep on thin, dirty mats on the floors of their homes, or even directly ON dirt floors in tiny huts. I have seen this with my own eyes during my visits to Kenya. Not only is this uncomfortable for these children, many of whom have severe disabilities, but it’s difficult for their caregivers as well.

A one time gift of $50 this Christmas will provide a mattress, two sets of sheets, and malaria netting for a child in our program. The malaria netting is vital to the health of these children - we saw many children enter hospitals this past year due to malaria infections, a mosquito borne disease.

Would you please consider a special one-time gift to CDFI today so that we can provide bedding packages to each of the 250 children in our Kenya Program? We need to raise $12,500 to do this.

• $50 will provide 1 bedding package for a child

• $100 will provide 2 bedding packages

• $250 will provide 5 bedding packages

• $500 will provide 10 bedding packages
