This November, I will be traveling with a group from my ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church into the Amazon as I embark on my very first international mission trip. This trip will be a 10 day excursion into the remote reaches of the river, where we will visit villages that lack many of life’s basic amenities including healthcare, clean water and more.
I am very excited to join my ministry on this trip. The decision to go forward with this journey has been weighing on my heart for some time, and after learning about the great things we will be doing in the Amazon I felt compelled to go. The good we are capable of doing in these villages cannot be overstated, and I am so looking forward to seeing God work through our ministry in order to bring assistance, goodwill and resources to these villagers.
I feel very strongly about this trip and know in my heart that I am being called to serve and to help those without the resources to help themselves. But I cannot accomplish this work alone and am seeking assistance from those who believe in this mission and what we are working to accomplish.
Please prayerfully consider your support of this mission, whether that be through prayer, donation or spreading the word about our ministry and this trip. Any and all support is welcome and I thank you for your consideration and your time.
"And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?' Then I said, 'Here I am! Send me.'" - Isaiah 6:8
