We've just been informed as of 4/17/2023, that airfare cost more than anticipated, so each of us has been asked to raise an additional $150 to cover this.  This raises the total fundraising need to $2800. The deadline remains May 30th.

Dear family and friends,

I hope this letter finds you and your family doing well, and staying healthy! I have some exciting news to share, and I want you to be one of the first to know. God willing, I will be going to Ecuador July 7th - July 15th on my first medical mission trip as one of the PA medical providers on the team 

I am delighted that God has called me into missions work, and I am excited to extend health care to those in need. We will be traveling to Guaranda, a city in the Andes Mountains in central Ecuador. Local pastors in Guaranda are looking forward to our team coming to partner with their church members. Together, we will share our testimonies and the gospel, beginning home Bible studies with those who accept Christ. Our medical team will provide basic care and health education as well as open more opportunities to introduce people to Christ. After not being allowed in the country over the past 2 years, this trip is greatly needed.

I have been blessed to have been chosen for this opportunity, but there is a lot of preparation ahead over the next 5 months. I need your help! First I would be honored if you would pray for our team: for our preparation, our journey, our ministry, and for the spiritual battles surely ahead. Secondly, I need help with raising financial support for my trip. The cost of the trip is $2,650 and I am praying for $1400 to be raised by March 30th, and for all support to be raised by May 1st. More about this trip:
We are planning to come alongside our Ecuadorean National leaders and pastors to hold a medical clinic in 5 local churches for 5 days in Ibarra, Ecuador; then medical clinics in 4 local churches the next week in Guaranda, Ecuador. Volunteers will either work in the medical clinic, reading eyeglass station, pray for patients, provide children's ministry, or partner with local believers to share the gospel, train and disciple the believers, and plant discipleship groups in communities. One day is usually set aside for touring, shopping, and free time.
