Between the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon jungle, Ecuador is a truly rare and special place. Designated one of only 17 “megadiverse” countries, it is one of the few places where even wildlife is constitutionally protected.
Christianity has grown from just 17,000 Jesus-followers in 1960 to 1.2 million today. Among the Quechua people, over 50% now proclaim Christ in certain regions where only a fraction had heard the gospel just decades ago. Still, much work needs to be done.
This expedition is a unique opportunity to reach Ecuador with the story of Jesus. In addition to taking the gospel to the streets, we will also encourage and disciple existing Christians.
As people give their lives over to Jesus, they will be connected with local pastors who will establish new small groups and churches, ensuring a lasting impact in the region.
