We’re raising $25k for female scholars in Uganda. And we want to invite you to join us!
Thirteen years ago, we (Hi! It’s us! Aggie & Liz!) partnered together to create educational and economic opportunities for young women in Uganda. We’re still at it, baby! The what and how continue to change and evolve, but the why remains the same.
And now we have a NEW way for you to join us in making good mischief.
The Lady Scouts are a circle of friends (or soon-to-be friends!) on a mission to do good and have fun. We care about serious issues without taking ourselves too seriously.
Our current mission? Directly support some of the brightest female scholars in Uganda.
They’ve got the brains and the brilliance, and we bring the cheddar and cheer. (And by cheddar, we mean the money AND the actual cheese, ideally.)
Every. Single. Dollar we raise through Lady Scout memberships goes directly towards our mission (it’s that important) to fund university scholarships for a small group of gals who are making big waves.
And we get to be part of the fun.
Our first Troop Mission is to raise $25k, which will go directly towards 2026 scholarships.
The Pitch:
Donate any amount (completely tax-deductible) to our campaign.
OR
Donate at least $250/year and become a member of the Lady Scouts. (I mean, you can absolutely throw in more cheddar if you want. The more cheese, the better, baby! Did we mention donations and “memberships” are 100% tax-deductible?)
Get this: At $250 a pop, it will only take one hundred Lady Scouts to meet our goal and make a MASSIVE impact in Uganda.
As we kick off and co-create this completely volunteer-led (no one is employed or getting paid to do this!) club, we’ll have quarterly, virtual Troop Meetings (usually led by Liz & Aggie) so we can get to know each other and share stories about how we’re having fun and doing good. It’s really a way for so many of us who know and love one another to stay in touch and have a space where we can invite and make new friends, too. Currently, in order to join the club, you have to be invited by Aggie, Liz or another Lady Scout member :)
And who knows?
Maybe someday there will be:
I mean, honestly, the sky is the limit, and we can’t wait to see what we create together. (And that’s the key: together.)
Whatever we create, it will be together. This isn’t a place to consume, it’s a place to contribute. Your money, your time, your stories, and your presence.
It’s a way to bring our friends together to keep creating magic, together.
You in?
