Wow, what a year it has been! The Lord has taught me so many things through the many changes that have occurred.  Going from teaching dance and dancing with Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s II Company, to working for Sewell, mentoring through Mercy Street, Co-leading a community group, and serving with the children’s ministry at Watermark Community Church. Through these changes it is comforting to know that Christ never changes.  He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8)! God continues to pull on my heart to follow Him and trust in Him. To trust in Him: through my career, family life, faith, and for the opportunities to share my story of grace with others (Proverbs 3:5). That has not been easy, but certainly rewarding to see His great plan for me un-fold (Proverbs 19:21). I am forever grateful!

This past month I have been given the privilege to travel to Assela, Ethiopia in July, 2015!  The part I am most excited about is sharing the Gospel with people in villages near Assela, who have never even heard the name of Christ before! How exciting that I get to be a part of sharing Jesus with them (Romans 1:16)!

Already, I can see how this trip is stretching and challenging my faith. Challenging me to be dependent upon the Lord, to ask for help and to receive help from others.  As I continue to prepare for the upcoming trip, I would be honored for you to join me in prayer!  Please pray for my team, our Ethiopian translators and disciple makers, and for the men, women and children who get to hear about the love and grace of Jesus!
