Friends and Family,

Ever since I can remember, I've known the name of Jesus. Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at First Lutheran are some of the first memories I ever have of my childhood. Throughout my 30 years on this earth, I've experienced intimacy with God in some seasons and pushed Him as far away as possible in others. I feel so overwhelmed with gratitude that the Lord has recaptured my heart in adulthood, and am so grateful to be acutely aware of God's overwhelming goodness in my life today.

I'm so excited to share that God has opened the door for me (and my husband Tanner!) to go on a mission trip this August to Ethiopia. The ultimate goal of this trip is to assist our Ethiopian ministry partners with building relationships & sharing the Gospel with Ethiopians who have never heard the name of Jesus. This trip will mark the first time I have been on a Mission Trip in 16 years, and the first time I've ever had the chance to spread the good news of the Gospel in a foreign country.
