Two years ago, I had the privilege of traveling to Uganda.  I learned about Ekisa through YouTube. (Shout out to YouTube for encouraging people to serve!)  I immediately reached out to Ekisa to volunteer.  I have always had a heart for people with disabilities, and I found it AMAZING that there was a place in East Africa created specifically for children with disabilities.  I love Ekisa's mission and goal to see an end to discrimination of people of all abilities while loving the children and educating families through the process.

I am so honored and excited to see the children at Ekisa again.  Their strength and joy is contagious and inspires me to be better.
