Initiative Description:

Following a three day global summit in London, England, The Miracle Foundation is leading a new partnership sanctioned by UNICEF with more than 60 different Government orgs and NGO’s to eliminate the need for institutionalized orphanages by 2030. It is a three year project and the first of its kind.

The Global Orphan Project is a collaboration of organizations with more than 600 years of combined experience. The result is more than 25 implementing organizations working in 40 countries around the globe.

This is a tipping point project, thus we are requesting a start up grant from Legacy Collective in the range of $25,000 to $50,000. This grant would be dedicated to help give us runway to organize this innovative and ground breaking next steps and raise necessary funds.

We believe this effort to fit perfectly within the vision of Legacy Collective for at least 5 reasons:

The impact will be felt in a growing list of 40+ countries in which a system to prevent orphans will be developed and a process to place existing orphans in families will begin. To date, we have more than 25 implementing organizations.

Initiative Sustainability Plan:

Each implementing organization (including UNICEF) has committed a long term portion of their budget towards this initiatives. All we need is the start up funding to stand in the gap while we organize. Once the program is underway, it is self funding. As it continues, there will be less and less overhead as there are less and less children without families.
