Hola,
First
of all, I want to thank those of you who supported Courtney, Josh, Jeramy and I
on our Colombia mission trip last summer.
It was truly an amazing experience. We will be forever changed. God
showed us how big He is by first of all providing for our trip financially, but
also using us to change lives. We all had incredible experiences sharing the
gospel with the Colombian people and seeing them respond to God’s love.
Personally,
in Colombia God met me there and took me to a whole new level
of faith. I was completely out of
my comfort zone and completely out of my control. One of the new strategies we used when we went out to share
the gospel with the people of Colombia was prayer walking. Each day our teams, would start by
prayer walking the barrios (neighborhoods) asking God to show us where we
needed to go and to whom we needed to talk to. It was amazing!
God would lead us to exactly who needed to hear our story and His story.
Being away from the distractions here at home I could hear God speaking to me
clearly. I experienced God using me to bring people to Himself. God showed me that I have a story to
tell and people need to hear it.
He gave me boldness and confidence that I have never had before. I found
my voice in Colombia!
I
am taking to heart and want to obey Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”. Some of us are called to pray, some to
give, and others to go. I feel I am called to go, make disciples! I invite you
to be a part of this mission team by partnering with us in prayer. Prayer is a
vital part of the trip and without it the trip would be impossible. Please pray that God would prepare the
hearts of those who will hear the gospel, and pray for local churches and
believers that we will be working with. Also pray that God will provide for all
that is needed to make this trip possible.

Armenia, also known as the "Coffee District", is a fertile agricultural
area located in the central west region of Colombia. God is doing great
things in Armenia as churches are being established and many people are
open to the Gospel. Armenia is not just for coffee lovers, but for
anyone who wants to help build God's kingdom. We would love to have you
join us!
